B&C Fire Safety is a 45 plus year locally owned, family focused company with offices in Fort Walton Beach, Santa Rosa Beach and Panama City Beach. B&C specializes in all facets of fire protection products and services. Our clients are comprised of commercial, industrial, hospitality, military and local, state, federal government markets. Our life safety protection services include the design, installation, inspection and maintenance of fire extinguishers, fire sprinkler systems, fire suppression systems and fire alarm systems. Our current territory spans the entire Florida Panhandle including Pensacola, Panama City and Tallahassee.  

We are currently seeking a qualified Fire Sprinkler Service Technicians.

Fire Sprinkler Fitter Foreman Job Requirements/Duties

  • Experience must include the layout and installation of fire sprinkler systems as well as the ability to interpret blueprints, architect drawings.
  • Ability to interact and communicate in a professional and positive manner with the customer, project managers, county officials, general contractors
  • Be familiar with NFPA 13 
  • Maintain accurate and precise documentation daily
  • Perform work in an efficient and organized manner
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Fire Sprinkler Field. Nicet II Certification is a plus but not required. 
  • Self motivator with no supervision required 
  • Extensive knowledge of and the ability to install, troubleshoot and repair all types of Fire Sprinkler Systems (wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, fire pumps, etc.)
  • Knowledge of all NFPA codes and standards 
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Ability to climb ladders, operate high lift equipment, carry and move material
  • Ability to complete site surveys and identify code issues and solutions

 

Fire Sprinkler Apprentice Job Requirements/Duties

  • Sprinkler Apprentices are responsible for assisting foreman and fitters in the installation of fire protection systems.
  • Must have aptitude for the trade and a willingness to learn.

Candidates for all of the above positions must:

  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent 
  • Possess a valid and clean driver’s license required
  • Must pass a drug screen and criminal background check
