Position Summary:

The Mailroom Clerk II position will be well versed and trained in all the mailroom functions in the corporate office and distribution center, including mail, copy center, parcel shipping/receiving and more. They will serve as the team leader for day-to-day operations in the mail room, supporting the Copy Center specialist and entire team.

Responsibilities:

1. Prioritize daily workload for the Copy center and work with the team to ensure all duties are accomplished in a timely manner.

2. Support and back up in all aspects of the copy center from printing to shipping.

3. Restock Printing Supplies

4. Main POC for the Mail room team, answering emails and talking to customers about their various printing and shipping needs.

5. Assist with administrative duties such as ordering and invoicing as assigned by supervisor

6. Understanding of Parcel Shipping/Receiving Programs

7. Operate MS Office and Email systems

8. Assists with maintaining the hall copiers and supporting the corporate office in printer supply needs.

9. May perform filing duties in conjunction with specific customer requests.

10. Delivers completed jobs to pre-determined customer locations within and outside of the site

11. Perform duties related to the shipping and/or receiving of materials in a mailroom type environment

12. Uses shrink-wrap machine, paper cutter, hole driller, bindery equipment, jogger, tape machine, stackers, electric stapler and scales in completion of various jobs contracted.

13. Uses all copier equipment, calculator, fax machine, postage meter and some PC

14. Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation

Requirements:

Minimum Education: HS Diploma or GED

Preferred Education: Trade school

Minimum Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a mailroom environment.

Preferred Experience: 2 years of experience in a mailroom environment.

Licenses/Certifications: N/A

Other Requirements:

Travel: No travel required

Hours & Conditions: Typically, Monday – Friday, 8+ hour days in office and distribution center setting. Exposure to noise, dirt, dust, ink, temperature fluctuations

Physical Requirements: Sitting / standing at computer for long periods of time. Ability to maneuver, carry, push, pull and lift up to 50 lbs. Regular lifting above shoulder level necessary. Frequent bending, twisting and stooping, ability to complete repetitive tasks, load and push/pull carts throughout the facility
