Your Role: Production Operator

As a Production Operator, you will be part of the Poultry Vaccine Production team to deliver life-saving animal health products. In this role, you'll be responsible for executing aseptic production processes, maintaining biosecurity standards, and ensuring efficient equipment turnover.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Core Vaccine Production:Execute end-to-end production tasks including egg handling (receipt, disinfection, transfer), tissue culture processes (inoculation, harvest, inactivation), and filling operations.
  • Aseptic & Biosecurity Excellence:Maintain strict adherence to aseptic techniques and biosecurity measures during all production hours to ensure product integrity and safety.
  • Sanitation & Sterilization:Perform critical cleaning and disinfection of room surfaces and equipment, including washing, wrapping, and sterilizing glassware via autoclave loading/unloading.
  • Documentation & Compliance:Concurrently complete all production records and documentation in accordance with internal SOPs, safety procedures, and external guidelines.
  • Operational Support:Utilize electronic systems (SAP) for material staging and monitor equipment performance, escalating any non-compliances or technical failures to supervisors immediately.
What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):
  • Education:High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience:Successful completion of Post Offer Exam and Work Simulation (where applicable).
  • Top 2 Skills:Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks with high accuracy and a strong commitment to following established safety and procedural SOPs.
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):
  • Associate's Degree in a science field (Biology or Microbiology preferred).
  • Previous exposure to aseptic techniques or laboratory science environments.
  • Strong scientific aptitude with excellent fine hand manipulation and eye-hand coordination.
  • Effective team collaboration skills with the ability to follow complex written and oral instructions.
  • High attention to detail and experience with electronic inventory systems like SAP.
