Position Summary

Ecology Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a qualified and experienced Class A Driver to join our Transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of materials using end dump trailers. This role requires a Class A commercial driver's license (CDL) and a strong commitment to safety and compliance with transportation regulations. The End Dump Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and secure deliveries while upholding our commitment to environmental sustainability.

Responsibilities

Safely operate End Dump Trailers to transport materials to designated locations.

Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure safe transportation.

Inspect and maintain the condition of the End Dump Trailers, reporting any issues promptly.

Load and unload materials in a secure and efficient manner, following proper procedures.

Complete required paperwork, such as logbooks and delivery receipts, accurately and on time.

Communicate effectively with dispatch, team members, and clients to ensure smooth transportation operations.

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the End Dump Trailers to ensure compliance with safety standards.

Follow established routes and schedules, adjusting as necessary to accommodate changes.

Adhere to environmental regulations and company guidelines for the proper disposal of materials.

Ecology Auto Parts, Inc. esta buscando Choferes de Clase A calificados y con experiencia para unirse a nuestro equipo de Transportacion. Responsabilidades

Operar de manera segura remolques de volteo para transportar materiales a las ubicaciones designadas.

Completar de manera precisa y oportuna la documentacion requerida, como libros de registro y recibos de entrega.

Comunicarse eficazmente con despacho, companeros de equipo y clientes para garantizar operaciones de transporte fluidas.

Realizar inspecciones antes y despues del viaje de los remolques de volteo para cumplir con los estandares de seguridad.

Seguir rutas y horarios establecidos, ajustandose segun sea necesario para acomodar cambios.

Cumplir con las regulaciones ambientales y las directrices de la empresa para la disposicion adecuada de los materiales.

Requirements

Qualifications/Knowledge/Critical Skills

Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL) with endorsements for operating End Dump Trailers

Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience as a Class A Driver (REQUIRED)

Strong understanding of transportation regulations and safety protocols

Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds as needed

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently

Demonstrated reliability and a commitment to meeting delivery deadlines

Familiarity with DOT regulations and logbook requirements

High school diploma or equivalent

Physical Demands/Environmental Factors

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to operate the vehicle; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.

Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Work may involve exposure to outdoor weather conditions.

Compensation

The End Dump Driver position offers a competitive salary range of $46,800.00 to $93,600.00 per year, based on experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401k plan with employer matching, and generous paid time off, and life insurance coverage. The final compensation package will be contingent upon the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, and skills, reflecting our commitment to providing a rewarding and competitive remuneration to attract top talent in the industry.
