Design and develop data models that effectively support the financial firm's data management, analytics, and reporting goals. Should have strong data modeling skills in data analytics space and experience in working with business areas, done conceptual and logical models. Experience of designing how data should be loaded into the model designed. Experience in various modeling patterns data vault, dimensional, 3NF. Collaborate with data architects, data analysts, and business units to understand data requirements and translate them into data models. Perform rigorous data analysis to understand the data nuances and apply learnings to data models and data designs. Work with the business team to design conceptual and logical data models, data flows, data designs and source-to-target data mapping. Collaborate with Business teams and Data Stewards to determine and manage data cleaning requirements, data security needs and implement security solutions as part of the data designs. Develop data model designs iteratively in an agile fashion incorporating collaboration, iteration, feedback, and continuous improvement throughout the data modeling lifecycle. Ensure that data models comply with financial regulations, data governance policies, and industry standards. Validate data models for data integrity, accuracy, and consistency. Assist in the selection and implementation of data modeling tools and methodologies. Assist in defining and implementing data standards for systems and applications including data object naming conventions, data standardization, data integrity, and data usage. Work closely with the Data Modeling Lead to align data models with the overall data strategy of the company. Facilitate integration of data models into data warehousing, reporting, and analytics solutions.
