Job Description
Seeking dynamic talented candidates to join our fast growing DME team!
We have an immediate opening for a full time Customer Service Representative. Candidate
must have prior customer service experience, especially in
CPAP/BiPAP set-up, compliance and re-supply procedures, be able to navigate between multiple programs, multi-task on the computer and answer phones.
Responsibilities:
- Processing all new Durable medical equipment (DME) orders by ensuring all the appropriate documentation and records are received
- Daily communication with physician offices, hospital case managers, office administrative staff, respiratory therapists and company marketing representatives
- Calling and scheduling patients for setup of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) including CPAP and supplies
- Setting up CPAP and BiPAP
- Calling and verifying patient insurance benefits through Availity and other insurance sites
- Requesting authorizations for DME from different commercial insurance companies
Requirements:
- Customer service experience in an office/administrative environment
- Experience in Medicare and commercial insurance benefit verification
- Knowledge of Medicare coverage criteria of DME and home health, preferred
- Brightree experience, preferred
- High level of comfort on the phone
- Ability to multi-task and maintain a high level of accuracy
- Experience in DME/home health intake, preferred
- Experience in setting up CPAP and BiPAP, preferred
- Experience in CMN Renewals and Re-Authorizations
- Experience with computers
- Friendly/outgoing personality and a passion for helping people
- Preference given to bilingual "English/Spanish"
