Live-in couples are pairs, often partners or spouses, who are jointly employed to live and work on-site for a private household, estate, or hospitality property. Their roles can include a combination of housekeeping, property maintenance, cooking, gardening, and sometimes childcare or security. Employers value live-in couples for their ability to offer a wide range of services while providing reliable, on-site support. Both individuals typically have complementary skill sets, allowing them to manage diverse household or estate tasks efficiently. Compensation often includes accommodation, a salary, and sometimes other benefits.

Couples may also be responsible for managing household supplies, coordinating with external contractors, and assisting with events or guests. Employers generally provide private accommodation and cover utility costs as part of the compensation package.
