Project Manager - Commercial Interior Construction

Location: Canton Ohio

Pay Rate: Starting at $28.00 per hour, based on experience

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and organized Project Manager to oversee commercial interior construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have construction project management experience and a strong understanding of commercial construction practices. Experience in the interior trades, including metal stud framing, drywall, ceilings, insulation, and flooring, is highly preferred.

The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating project schedules, managing budgets, communicating with customers, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple commercial construction projects simultaneously.
  • Coordinate project schedules, manpower, materials, and subcontractors.
  • Maintain communication with owners, general contractors, vendors, and field crews.
  • Monitor project budgets, costs, and job progress.
  • Conduct site visits and attend project meetings as needed.
  • Review project plans, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Track change orders, requests for information (RFIs), and project documentation.
  • Ensure projects meet quality, safety, and customer satisfaction standards.
  • Assist with project planning and problem-solving throughout all phases of construction.
Qualifications Preferred:
  • Previous Project Management experience in construction.

  • Experience in commercial interior construction trades, including:- Metal Stud Framing

    • Drywall
    • Insulation
    • Acoustic Ceilings
    • Commercial Flooring
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

  • Experience with budgeting, scheduling, and project coordination.

Required:
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
