Are you analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about turning data into meaningful action? Mustang Cat is hiring a Condition Monitoring Analyst to analyze machine health data and deliver clear, actionable insights that improve equipment reliability and customer value.

In this role, you’ll support proactive maintenance strategies by identifying potential issues early, reducing unplanned downtime, and strengthening long-term customer relationships through data-driven recommendations.

What You’ll Do as a Condition Monitoring Analyst:

As a Condition Monitoring Analyst, you’ll evaluate data from multiple sources to assess machine health and guide maintenance decisions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Analyze condition monitoring data from oil analysis, telematics, inspections, and service history
  • Identify trends, anomalies, and emerging risks that may impact machine health or reliability
  • Develop clear, actionable maintenance and operational recommendations
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to internal teams and customers
  • Document analysis, recommendations, and outcomes in applicable systems
  • Maintain accuracy, consistency, and timeliness in data analysis and reporting
  • Collaborate across departments to support proactive maintenance strategies

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in data analytics, data science, or a related analytical role
  • Strong ability to collect, interpret, and analyze data from multiple sources
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and departments
  • Strong attention to detail with effective organization and time management skills

Additional Helpful Skills:

  • Associate’s degree or technical certificate in a mechanical, technical, or related discipline
  • Prior experience as a diesel technician or in a heavy equipment service environment
  • Experience performing root-cause analysis and identifying machine issues
  • Familiarity with Caterpillar equipment and condition monitoring tools such as VisionLink, Cat Inspect, SIS, and Foresight
