THE JOB

The Senior Director, Tour Marketing is a critical part of the Tour Marketing team, as a strategic marketing leader and core member of the department, partnering with promoters, to develop & execute an innovative marketing strategy. This person will provide best-in-class service and foster strong relationships with both our internal teams and external partners.

They will act as a strategic partner in developing marketing plans, working internally with cross-functional teams to lead marketing on a special immersive traveling exhibition. They will work closely with brand and partner teams to create an overall marketing strategy for launch. Bottom line, they are responsible for the successful execution of the marketing for the event across paid, owned & earned media.

This role is being offered as a 12-month full-time assignment. Please note that the assignment may end earlier than the anticipated term with three months' notice.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

  • Develop and execute marketing strategy in conjunction with project teams
  • Manage launch campaign, including PR and influencer/content creators
  • Build a strategic ticket sale timeline to leverage available target audiences
  • Use research tools & audience data to shape strategy and drive ongoing opportunities to optimize performance
  • Manage marketing budget to achieve business objectives
  • Collaborate with multiple teams to successfully execute strategic integrated marketing campaigns
  • Oversee both national & local promotions to drive ticket sales, awareness, and fan engagement
  • Partner with the PR team to develop & execute media events and PR opportunities to generate awareness
  • Oversee the planning of digital media campaigns across multiple platforms
  • Oversee the production of marketing assets, including audio & video spots, key art, social content, etc.
  • Effectively utilize internal marketing tools & resources, following best practices

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

  • 10+ years of marketing experience in live entertainment, driving ticket sales, experience working on family events, a plus
  • Proven track record of outstanding client relationships
  • Deep understanding of the live entertainment business
  • Ability to clearly communicate strategic initiatives and navigate complex situations under pressure
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to professionally present marketing concepts and strategies to teams
  • Work well in a team environment
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines while managing multiple projects
  • Ability to adapt, communicate, and manage in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong time management skills, excellent organization skills, and attention to detail
  • Creativity skills and problem-solving aptitude

  • Ability to recognize and define problems, collect information, establish facts, and implement innovative solutions, tapping into key stakeholders

  • Experience with digital asset management systems and workflows
  • Experience managing marketing budgets & campaign planning
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Fluency in a secondary language a plus, particularly Spanish
