Job description

We are currently seeking a Warehouse & Yard Coordinator to join our client's team in Providence, RI. This W2 contract is set to last one year and is fully onsite.


Responsibilities:

  • Support daily operations to ensure an efficient and well-maintained storage yard and warehouse environment.
  • Conduct regular yard inspections and report housekeeping or corrective actions to the Yard Manager.
  • Promote and maintain a safe working environment for all personnel, contractors, and visitors onsite.
  • Assist with equipment mobilization/demobilization activities for offshore projects.
  • Monitor stock levels of equipment, consumables, rigging, lifting gear, and spare parts.
  • Ensure all tools and equipment are properly stored, maintained, and fit for operational use.
  • Coordinate loading/unloading of trucks and container handling activities.
  • Carry out small maintenance tasks across the yard and warehouse facilities.


Requirements:

  • Basic computer skills (MS Office)
  • Forklift license or willing to obtain one
  • Eligible for and willing to obtain a TWIC card
  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • Must live within commutable distance to Providence, RI
