Responsible for the analytical review of key hospital(s) financial performance indicators. Provides financial guidance, direction, support, and training to assigned areas on a routine basis as related to process improvement and cost benefit/analysis. Works in concert with the hospital(s) Chief Financial Officer to provide financial guidance to senior leaders. INTEGRIS Health is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.

* Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting/Finance, or Business-Related Field required. 

* CPA or MBA preferred. 

* 7 years of accounting or financial analyst work experience. 

* Previous healthcare experience preferred. 

* Advanced personal computer skills using Excel, PeopleSoft financials or similar software, EPIC or similar billing systems and financial analyst software. 

* Knowledge of healthcare terminology, issues, and reimbursement preferred.

The Senior Financial Analyst responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: 

* Reviews and analyzes operational business trends including service lines. This includes highlighting areas of concern and/or success regarding economic performance and productivity, investigating unusual variances, working with department managers and coordinating communication to upper management for resolution. 

* Interprets operating results as they affect the financial aspects of the company and makes specific recommendations, which will result in operating and cost efficiencies. 

* Performs cost benefit analysis for business and/or equipment proposals. Works with responsible manager/director/VP to gather accurate data, prepare proformas with detail calculations, assumptions and recommendations. Includes assisting as needed with annual strategic planning and budget projections. 

* Teaches and helps department directors and managers interpret financials results of department, including operating statements results and efficiency of workforce staffing. Assists directors and managers in the practical application of said results. 

* Assist various members of operations, including Chief Financial Officer, in the completion of both the Capital and Operating budget process. 

* Communicates budget variances as directed. Works with appropriate members of operations as directed to determine actions to correct and monitor plans to assure budget compliance. 

* Prepares special reports as requested by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends. 

* Prepares special cost studies that analyze various areas of operations and provides information as a basis for managerial decisions. Communicates the results to all levels of operations team. 

* Perform ad hoc analysis as needed Reports directly to the assigned CFO-VP. May sit up to 90% of the day. May utilize a computer keyboard up to 5 hours per day. May utilize the telephone up to 1 hour per day. Carries a load of 20 lbs. 1,000 feet once a month. This position may have additional or varied physical demand and/or respiratory fit test requirements.
