Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and highly organized Housekeeper & Private Cook to support the daily operations of a private residence. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining a spotless, organized, and welcoming home environment while also preparing fresh, high-quality meals tailored to the clients preferences and dietary needs.


We believe a well-maintained home and thoughtfully prepared meals contribute to comfort, structure, and overall quality of life. This position plays an important role in creating a clean, organized, and supportive household environment through exceptional housekeeping, organization, and meal preparation.

We are looking for someone who is proactive, adaptable, trustworthy, and comfortable balancing extensive housekeeping responsibilities with cooking and meal preparation in a fast-paced and highly personalized environment.


What Youll Do

Executive Housekeeping Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain all common areas, bedrooms, hallways, restrooms, kitchens, windows, woodwork, light fixtures, and additional living spaces
  • Ensure the residence remains clean, organized, sanitary, and free of clutter and debris at all times
  • Deep clean and maintain floor surfaces, furniture, draperies, and household fixtures
  • Operate cleaning equipment, shampooers, and household tools as needed
  • Empty trash receptacles and maintain overall household cleanliness and presentation
  • Launder, sort, iron, fold, steam, and properly organize clothing, towels, and linens
  • Disinfect household equipment, supplies, kitchens, bathrooms, and high-touch surfaces regularly
  • Follow proper procedures regarding cleaning supplies, hazardous materials, sanitation, and infection control
  • Maintain organization throughout closets, storage areas, and household spaces
  • Monitor and communicate household supply and cleaning inventory needs


Cooking & Meal Preparation

  • Consult with the client regarding food preferences, allergies, dietary restrictions, and meal preferences
  • Develop and prepare meals including breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and meal prep items
  • Create rotating menus and meal options for client approval
  • Prepare appetizers, salads, soups, entres, sides, and desserts
  • Source and prepare fresh, high-quality ingredients
  • Package, label, and store prepared foods for convenient reheating
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of cookware, utensils, appliances, and kitchen workstations
  • Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations


Household Support & Additional Responsibilities

  • Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion within a private household environment
  • Assist with additional household support tasks as needed
  • Support a welcoming, organized, and well-functioning home environment
  • Maintain flexibility and composure in a fast-paced setting
  • Occasional out-of-town travel with the employer may be required to support cleaning and upkeep of a secondary personal residence
