THE JOB
The Food & Beverage Assistant is a part-time, seasonal position reporting directly to the Live Nation Food & Beverage Manager. This role supports food and beverage operations during the Summer Concert Series and requires availability for every scheduled show throughout the season.
The Assistant works closely with the Chateau Ste. Michelle Wine Cocktail Tent Supervisor, the Wine Cocktail Tent team, and, as needed, contracted food vendors.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
  • Wine cocktail and frozé mixing and batching
  • Inventory control and product tracking
  • Delivery of product to the Wine Cocktail Tent and food vendors
  • Delivery of Coca-Cola and Liquid Death products to food vendor cages in the barrel room
  • Ensuring the Wine Cocktail Tent is fully stocked with all necessary supplies prior to doors opening
  • Replenishing product at the Wine Cocktail Tent throughout the concert
  • Assisting the Wine Cocktail Tent Supervisor during concerts and after closing
  • Draining and cleaning frozé machines at closing
  • Cleaning the Wine Cocktail Tent kegerator and purging syrup lines
  • Assisting food vendors with requests at closing
  • Conducting walk-throughs of food vendor tents to ensure proper closing procedures are followed
  • Other duties as assigned

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
Required:
  • Ability to work late hours
  • Working knowledge of restaurant and bar operations
  • Entry level knowledge of state, federal and local liquor laws, retail operations, computers (Microsoft Office- Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint)
  • Skill in leadership, guest relations, decision making and staff schedule maintenance
  • Ability to engage in positive interaction with staff and guests, prioritize, organize, motivate staff, problem solve, delegate, follow-up, communicate, diffuse possibly volatile situations with tact
  • High School diploma

Preferred:
  • Point of Sales knowledge
  • Some college or college degree

Physical Demands/Working Environment:
  • Working environment is fast-paced, loud and stressful
  • Position requires extended periods of prolonged standing and working on your feet
  • Must be able to lift or move up to 35 lbs using proper lifting techniques
