Job description

George Fox University announces a part-time, adjunct faculty position in mathematics, to begin in the fall and/or spring semester, as needed. The School of Natural Sciences is seeking an instructor who is enthusiastic about educating the next generation of students in our growing programs.

Responsibilities include:
  • Primary teaching responsibilities involve face-to-face lecture sections of courses on the Newberg campus. Current courses are scheduled either two, three, or four days a week.

Qualifications
  • B.S. or higher is required in mathematics or related field. M.S. or higher preferred.
  • Previous teaching experience in related fields is desirable (but not required).
  • Excellent professional, interpersonal, organization, and communication skills.
  • A commitment to working with a diverse population of students is essential; demonstrated experience in this area is preferred.
