About Tri Valley Urology
At Tri Valley Urology, we have proudly provided comprehensive, compassionate urologic care to the Murrieta and Temecula Valley communities and surrounding areas for nearly 50 years. Our practice is a well-established urology and urogynecology group with 5 urologists, 1 urogynecologist, and 1 physician assistant. We offer a supportive, team-based environment with strong physician mentorship and exposure to a broad range of urologic and pelvic floor conditions. Position Details

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician Assistant to join our established urology and urogynecology practice. Our ideal candidate is a team-oriented clinician with a strong commitment to high-quality patient care and an interest in building a long-term career within a collaborative private practice setting.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including history, physical exams, and development of treatment plans
  • Diagnose and manage a wide range of urologic and urogynecologic conditions (e.g., BPH, kidney stones, UTIs, incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse)
  • Conduct follow-up visits and provide ongoing care for chronic urologic conditions
  • Assist physicians in clinic-based and surgical procedures, including cystoscopy, catheter placement, and minor office procedures
  • Provide pre-operative and post-operative care, including hospital rounding as needed
  • Interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, urodynamics) and communicate results to patients
  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive care
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and ancillary providers to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record-Modernizing Medicine
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and practice development as appropriate

Skills/Qualifications

  • Proficiency with EMR systems such as Modernizing Medicine, Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for efficient documentation and data management.
  • Knowledge of CPT coding and ICD coding standards for accurate billing and documentation processes.
  • Understanding of anatomy knowledge, physiology principles related to urology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
  • Experience with telehealth platforms to extend urological services remotely while maintaining high standards of patient care.
  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • NCCPA certification required
  • Eligible for California PA licensure
  • Prior urology or surgical experience preferred (but not required)
  • Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills for triage assessments, patient education, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
