Job description

Applications are being accepted to build a qualified candidate pool for anticipated Barbering Teacher openings for the 2026/2027 school year, at our 1601 W. Main Street, Mesa AZ 85201 campus.

Job Summary:
Under general supervision, the Barbering teacher will prepare students to apply technical knowledge and skills in the fundamentals of barbering.
Salary: $50,651.00 - $84,636.03 Placement in the range will be based on a combination of education, industry related experience, teaching experience, and certification.

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Barber.
  • Valid Barbering instructors licenseย from the Arizona State Board of Barbering required
  • Ability to obtain an Arizona Department of Education Career & Technical Education (CTE) Certification in the area of Industrial and Emerging Technologiesย https://www.azed.gov/educator-certification/forms-and-information/certificates.
  • Valid Level 1 IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card through Arizona Department of Public Safety.
  • Proof of immunization against or immunity to measles, mumpsย and rubella (MMR) if born after January 1, 1957.
