Empowered Pilates is one of the largest family-owned Club Pilates franchise groups in Arizona and Colorado, operating 26 studios with continued growth across both states!

We are currently hiring Certified Pilates Instructors for our Scottsdale and Paradise Valley-area studios, including:

  • Scottsdale Promenade
  • Scottsdale Shea
  • Old Town Scottsdale
  • Gainey Ranch
  • Paradise Valley
  • Fountain Hills

Instructors have the opportunity to teach at one studio or build a schedule across multiple Empowered Pilates locations based on their availability and studio needs.

We are seeking instructors to join our Club Pilates family! The ideal candidate will be POSITIVE and ENTHUSIASTIC and have a passion for supporting our team and community by helping others to live their best lives through health and fitness.

If you are a professional instructor who is highly motivated, FRIENDLY and willing to learn, build relationships with new and existing clients, and lead dynamic, contemporary, apparatus-focused workout routines (we use Balanced Body Reformers, EXO Chairs, TRX, Springboards, ballet barre and more), you'll be a great addition to our team!

We are looking for instructors who are confident working with clients of all experience levels and can provide challenging, fitness-based Pilates classes in a safe manner through both group classes and private training sessions. Club Pilates offers blocked scheduling, the opportunity to teach multiple class levels and formats, free classes, continuing education, employee status (not independent contractor), room for growth, and a supportive, fun environment.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Current Pilates certification (full apparatus Pilates Certification with 500+ hours of experience or equivalent is a plus)
  • Experience teaching group classes
  • Ability to demonstrate effective group Pilates instruction
  • Energetic, positive, inclusive, and motivational teaching style
  • Capable of using a contemporary approach to classical exercises
  • Punctual, reliable, and dedicated
  • Focus on EXCEPTIONAL customer service, including professional and effective communication skills
  • Ability to work harmoniously as part of a team
  • Ability to adapt and evolve in an ever-changing fast-paced diverse environment

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead Pilates group reformer classes pursuant to Club Pilates standards
  • Provide a safe and effective workout for up to 12 members per class, while using a variety of equipment including, but not limited to, Reformer, Springboard, Exo-Chair, Bosu Ball, Magic Circle, etc.
  • Prepare creative class flows that are challenging and level appropriate
  • Uphold our core values to ensure a positive studio culture that is inclusive and encouraging
  • Conduct private sessions, semi-private sessions, workshops, private events, and other additional sessions as needed
  • Inspect the equipment prior to each class to ensure it is in good working order and safe to use
  • Maintain a clean and orderly workout environment
  • Assist with membership sales and checking clients in
  • Participate in special events as needed to promote the studio
  • Build studio revenue by promoting retail, membership sales, events, and services by delivering the “Message of the Week” after every class
  • Be a motivating and inspiring force to promote our motto: Do Pilates. Do Life.
