Job Posting Title: Manager, Production Services Req ID: 10159451 Job Description:

Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of three Coordinators, includes hiring, training, shift scheduling, mentoring and evaluations.
  • Direct coordinators in their support of production bookings.
  • Oversee scheduling, location scouts, pricing, and contracting.
  • Provide guidance and support to team on production crew management and conflict resolution.
  • Cover production shifts, as needed.
  • Oversee all prep, shoot and strike activity at each location to minimize impact to the area and ensure compliance of all Ranch Rules.
  • Responsible for safety oversight and damage assessment & charges.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with Location Managers, Producers and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain production sets and locations: Identify and track general maintenance projects for production sets.
  • Assign maintenance tasks to Coordinators, based on appropriate skill level and expertise.
  • Coordinate with Ranch Operations Manager and third-party vendors to schedule projects and tasks as needed around filming activity.
  • Partner with Disney Entertainment Television to identify and prioritize annual recurring capital maintenance projects.
Accounting & Office Management Responsibilities
  • Responsible for vendor invoice payments, P.O. management and purchasing.
  • Partner with Finance Supervisor on revenue & expense tracking, sourcing & procurement and recurring capital project accounting/tracking.
  • Assist Sr. Manager with annual budgets.
  • Manage Ranch Marketing & Outreach efforts, including department website updates, industry events, site tours and other community outreach.
  • Manage Scheduling System (Xytech), including maintenance, new development, training and utilization.
Skills & Qualifications
  • + 7 years of production management experience
  • Experience managing others
  • Accounting and budget experience
  • Display quality customer service skills
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Robust organizational skills and attention to accuracy
  • Proficiency inMicrosoft Office and SAP
  • A Valid California driver’s license
  • Ability to traverse rough terrain
Preferred Skills
  • Media Pulse/Xytech
  • Comfortable working in a ranch environment – rural conditions, indoor/outdoor, wildlife encounters
  • Experience with fire safety response and emergency team support
  • CPR/First Aid
  • BS/BA or equivalent work experience

The hiring range for this position in Newhall, CA is $105,100 to $140,900 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
