The Mechanic will participate and assist in the planning, organizing, implementing and controlling of the hospital’s engineering functions and activities. Provides support to the Engineering Director in gathering information and the analysis of various types of information for use in managing the Engineering Department. Responsible for the operating, repairing and maintaining of all equipment and the various utility systems, including but not limited to electrical systems, medical air, medical vacuum, HVAC, compressed air, boilers and chillers. Responsible for performing repairs and alterations to building structure, interior and exterior. Have understanding and knowledge of computerized Maintenance Programs. 

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Maintenance Technical School and Two (2) years Maintenance experience
