GENERAL DESCRIPTION

AtPLEXSYS Interface Products, Inc., we design, build, and deliver advancedmodeling, simulation, and training (MS&T)solutions that prepare warfighters for success in complexCommand, Control and Communications,(C3)Battle Management, jointandmulti-domain operations. As we expand our footprint in theU.S. Army Integrated Air & Missile Defense (IAMD)andMissile Defense Agency (MDA)markets, we are seeking aDirector of Business Developmentto lead growth efforts in thesecriticalmission domains.

We are seeking an accomplished Director of Business Development to lead growth in the U.S. Army Integrated Air & Missile Defense (IAMD)andMissile Defense Agency(MDA)markets.This senior leader will develop and execute strategies to expand PLEXSYSs presence in air and missile defense training, mission simulation, and integrated command and control environments, bridging operational realism with digital innovation. You will interface directly with Army and MDA decision-makers to align our capabilities with evolving readiness, integration, and test requirements across the IAMD enterprise.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Market Development

  • Define and implement business development strategies for U.S. Army IAMD and MDA market segments
  • Ability to interpret U.S. Army & Joint Force modernization roadmaps and translate them into actionable growth strategiesincluding AIAMD/IBCS, JADC2 interoperability, andGolden Dome Americainitiatives
  • Develop andmaintaindeep market intelligence on programs, budgets, and competitive positioning
  • Partner withourPLEXSYSproduct managersto shape technology roadmaps and investment priorities that align with customer missions
  • Drive opportunities intesting andtraining system modernization,distributed simulation,operator readiness, andmission rehearsal environmentsthat support jointandcoalition air and missile defense

Capture and Opportunity Leadership

  • Identify, qualify, and lead capture efforts from pipeline development through proposal submission and contract award
  • Shape customer requirements by introducing PLEXSYS technologies that enhance interoperability, mission analytics, and training fidelity

Customer Engagement and Advocacy

  • Build and sustain relationships with leaders acrossMDA,PAE Fires,T2COM,U.S. ArmySMDC,Army Contracting Command (ACC)-Redstone, PAE Maneuver Air, and U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command Aviation & Missile Center (DEVCOMAvMC)andS3I Directorate
  • Represent PLEXSYS in key industry forums, PALTs,and working groups addressingLive, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC)integration and digital enterprise test environments

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with engineering, product, and program management teams to align PLEXSYS simulation and training solutions with customer needs
  • Support go-to-market alignment with PLEXSYSs strategic partners andOEMplatform integratorssuch asLockheed, Northrop, Boeing,Raytheonand General Dynamics
  • Explore synergieswith our regional teammates (AUKUS)and opportunities for Foreign Military Sales (FMS)throughCapability Program ExecutiveSimulation, Training, Test,&Threat (CPE ST3), Orlando, Fl

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelors degree inBusiness, Engineering, or related technical discipline (Masterspreferred)
  • Minimum 12-15years of experience inU.S. Defensebusiness development, capture management, or program leadership
  • Proven successidentifying, shaping, and winningmid-scale Army or Joint service captures
  • Familiarity with Army air and missile defense architectures, including IBCS, IFPC, Patriot, THAAD, and JADC2 integration efforts
  • Deep understanding of DoD acquisition processes, contracting mechanisms, and budget lifecycles
  • Strong executive communication and interpersonal skills for engaging senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
  • Military domain experience withintegrating live operationalC3BMsystemswith constructivemodeling andsimulationenvironmentsenablingindividual, crew, collective, and mission readiness training needs
  • Active DoD Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret/ SCI

DESIRABLE

  • Established network withinMDA,FortBelvior, VA,T2COM,Austin, TX,PAE Fires, U.S. ArmySMDC, ACC-Redstone,Redstone Arsenal, ALandFires Center of Excellence, Fort Sill, OK
  • Establishednetwork withPrime contractors such as Lockheed Martin, Northrop, Boeingand Raytheon (RTX)wholead solution development and sustainment for major IAMD systems, including Patriot, THAAD, IBCS integrationand MDAsC2BMC-Nextprogram
  • Demonstrated ability to influence requirements and shape acquisition priorities
  • Experience integrating advanced technologies (AI/ML, sensor fusion, cloud C2) into proposal strategies
  • Strategic thinker with entrepreneurial drive and disciplined execution in complex capture environments
  • Experience incustomer relationship management (CRM) platforms preferably SalesForce
  • Substantial experience and acumen working with industry, with a focus on Defense and Combined / Joint All-Domain Command and Control (C/JADC2)mission readiness andtraining needs

REPORTING STRUCTURE

Reports directly to the Vice President of Business Developmentand Marketing for US Operations.
