Archer Western Constructionis currently seeking aYard Foremanfor the West Bartow Reclamation Facility , inKingston, GA.

The Yard Foreman will supervise, coordinate, and oversee daily general operations related to the Yard/segment of the project. Also operate heavy equipment such as Front-End Loader, Dozer, Excavator, etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Control the inventory of the yard including construction tools and equipment
• General understanding of maintenance of construction equipment and tools to provide service as needed
• Record information such as production or operational data on specified forms or reports
• Maintains tracking logs for yard deliveries and inspects tools/equipment
• Provide assistance to workers engaged in construction or extraction activities, using hand tools or other equipment
• Examine and inspect work progress, equipment, and construction site to verify safety and to ensure that specifications are met
• Must adhere to safety protocol, and work in a drug-free environment
• Train and supervise workers on company policies, safety practices, regulations and procedures as required

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3 years Construction Foreman experience preferred
• 3-5 years of verifiable construction experience required
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities; experience managing crews and subcontractors preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with crew members, project management, subcontractors, and vendors
• Ability to effectively read and understand work plans
• Requires ability to climb and maintain balance on scaffold/ladder
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may be required to work in adverse weather conditions.
• Requires the ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly.
• Possess a strong work ethic, work independently, and desire to learn.
• Requires good manual dexterity; may be standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periods.
• Requires knowledge of operating procedures as pertaining to loading and unloading materials
• Forklift Certification preferred
• Computer skills and proficient with Excel and Word
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening

RESPONSABILIDADES

Las responsabilidades incluyen pero no se limitan a:

• Controle el inventario del patio, incluidas las herramientas y el equipo de construccion
• Comprension general del mantenimiento de equipos y herramientas de construccion para brindar servicio segun sea necesario
• Documentar informacion como produccion o datos operativos en formularios o informes especificos
• Mantiene registros de seguimiento para entregas en el patio e inspecciona herramientas / equipos
• Brindar asistencia a los trabajadores que participan en actividades de construccion o extraccion, utilizando herramientas manuales u otros equipos
• Examine e inspeccione el progreso del trabajo, el equipo y el sitio de construccion para verificar la seguridad y garantizar que se cumplan las especificaciones del trabajo
• Debe cumplir con el protocolo de seguridad y norma sobre centro laboral libre de drogas
• Entrenar y supervisar a los trabajadores sobre las politicas, practicas de seguridad, regulaciones y procedimientos de la compania

CALIFICACIONES

• 3 anos de experiencia en construccion como Foreman/Encargado preferido
• Se requiere 3-5 anos de experiencia de construccion verificable
• Capacidades de liderazgo demostradas; experiencia en la gestion de equipos y subcontratistas preferidos
• Capacidad para comunicarse de manera efectiva con los miembros de el equipo, la gestion del proyecto, los subcontratistas y los vendedores
• Capacidad para leer y comprender de manera efectiva los planes de trabajo
• Requiere capacidad para subir y mantener el equilibrio en andamios / escaleras
• Requiere buena destreza manual; se requiere estar de pie, agachado, arrodillado o sentado durante largos periodos
• Debe poder levantar hasta 50 libras; puede ser requerido para trabajar en varias condiciones climaticas
• Requiere la capacidad de cumplir con todas las politicas y procedimientos de seguridad
• Poseer una fuerte etica de trabajo, habilidad de trabajar independientemente, y ganas de aprender
• Requiere conocimiento de los procedimientos operativos relacionados con la carga y descarga de materiales
• Se prefiere la certificacion de montacargas
• Habilidades informaticas y dominio de Excel y Word
• Debe poder pasar una prueda de consumo de drogas previa al empleo
