Gainesville Garage of Gainesville, VA is currently hiring for a skilled full-time Automotive Repair Technician - Diesel Mechanic to assess issues, diagnose, and repair vehicles through oil changes, tire work, and other light to medium-duty automotive services. Diesel experience is preferred and experience with light and medium duty, gas and/or diesel vehicles is a plus. This auto technician position works Monday to Friday from 8 AM - 5 PM. No weekends! They earn a flat rate pay structure dependent on experience level and qualifications. There is an opportunity to grow based on skills. We are auto industry leaders and believe that hard work can also be fun!

REQUIREMENTS FOR AN AUTOMOTIVE REPAIR TECHNICIAN - DIESEL MECHANIC

  • Auto mechanical repair experience
  • Diesel experience preferred
  • Experience with light and medium duty, gas and/or diesel vehicles
  • Your own tools
  • Good driving record
  • Live in VA and be able to commute to and from work
  • Virginia Safety Inspector certification is preferred, but not required
