What is a live in AFC home?

Live In AFC (Adult Foster Care) Homes are residential facilities that provide care, supervision, and assistance with daily living activities for adults who are unable to live independently due to physical, cognitive, or emotional limitations. These homes typically offer a family-like environment, with caregivers living on-site or nearby to offer 24-hour support. Residents may receive help with personal care, medication management, meals, and participation in social activities. The goal is to help adults maintain as much independence as possible while ensuring their safety and well-being.
