Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented 3-5 Axis CNC Milling Machinist to join our dynamic team in Richmond, VA. In this role, you will be responsible for operating advanced CNC milling machines to produce high-quality components that meet our clients' specifications. Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate 3-5 axis CNC milling machines according to engineering specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models.
  • Perform quality checks on finished products using precision measuring instruments.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot CNC machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with engineers and team members to improve manufacturing processes.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Document production processes and maintain accurate records.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining preferred.
  • Proven experience as a CNC machinist, specifically with 3-5 axis milling machines.
  • Strong understanding of CNC programming and G-code.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Familiarity with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
