Levitate is looking for an Event Marketing Associate to support our growing conference and tradeshow program. Events are an important channel for introducing Levitate to small businesses and professional service firms across the industries we serve, and this role will help make sure we show up with energy, professionalism, and a clear point of view.
This is a part-time, variable-hour role built around Levitate's event calendar. During event weeks, hours may be heavier and include travel, booth time, setup, teardown, and occasional evening commitments. Between events, hours may be limited or minimal. The ideal candidate is outgoing, dependable, comfortable starting conversations with new people, and excited to represent Levitate in the field.
Responsibilities
  • Travel to and support Levitate's presence at conferences, tradeshows, and other field marketing events
  • Engage attendees on the show floor, introduce them to Levitate, and help identify strong-fit prospects
  • Qualify event conversations and book demos or next steps for the sales team when appropriate
  • Support booth setup, teardown, materials management, and day-of event logistics
  • Use event tools, badge scanners, CRM workflows, and demo-booking processes accurately
  • Partner with Marketing and Sales to understand event goals, talk tracks, target audiences, and follow-up expectations
  • Help ensure leads and event notes are well-captured so post-event follow-up is timely and effective
  • Represent Levitate's brand in a friendly, polished, and professional way across long event days
  • Provide general support for field marketing efforts as the event program evolves

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal skills and comfort starting conversations with new people
  • Ability to quickly learn and communicate a product story at a high level
  • Strong judgment and the ability to recognize when a conversation is worth moving to a next step
  • Reliable, organized, and able to work independently in a fast-moving environment
  • Comfortable with travel, including multi-day trips and occasional weekend travel
  • Tech-comfortable and willing to learn tools like HubSpot, badge-scan apps, calendar booking tools, and other event systems
  • Authorized to work in the United States as a W-2 employee

Nice to Have
  • Prior experience supporting tradeshows, conferences, field marketing programs, or live events
  • Experience in B2B sales, marketing, or lead generation
  • Familiarity with one or more of Levitate's core industries, such as financial services, insurance, accounting, nonprofit, legal, healthcare, or home services
  • Experience working in a startup or fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly

Schedule & Compensation
This is a part-time, variable-hour, non-exempt W-2 role. Hours will vary based on Levitate's event calendar and are expected to be concentrated around event weeks. Travel, lodging, ground transportation, and meals related to approved business travel will be covered by Levitate. Compensation is a competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience. Overtime will be paid as required by law.
