In January 2020, Little Sprouts opened for the children of employees of Farm Bureau companies.
Children learn best through play. Little Sprouts will provide state-of-the-art classrooms with extra space, materials, and equipment to stimulate growth in all areas of development. Beautiful, large playgrounds are divided by age groups. Outdoor interest areas are equipped for various types of hands-on learning, including children's gardens, age-based activities, mud kitchens, and more.

Job Summary:
As an educator at Little Sprouts Discovery Center, you will provide a safe and loving environment that nurtures each child's social, emotional, cognitive, creative, and physical development.
Responsibilities:
  • Creates lesson plans that are balanced and appropriate to development levels
  • Document learning experience through displays and pictures
  • Maintains positive informal and formal communication with families daily
  • Maintains a safe, comforting and stimulating environment for toddlers
  • Facilitates and maintains childcare licensing standards
  • Friendly and a desire to work as a team in a rewarding, fast-paced environment

Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a preschool environment
  • Strong verbal communicator with an upbeat personality who is comfortable and excels at speaking with parents
  • Energetic, nurturing, positive, child-friendly personality
  • Shows initiative; strong work ethic
  • High school diploma
