We are seeking a motivated Production Technician to support the startup and ongoing operations of our new lithium-ion battery manufacturing facility. This is a hands-on, high-tech environment where safety, quality, and teamwork are top priority. In this role, you will build, test and inspect battery components to meet quality and safety standards. You will use specialized tools and equipment by following detailed work instructions and schematics as you seamlessly transition between different products.

Responsibilities
  • Operate, monitor, and maintain production equipment and machinery according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings and work instructions.
  • Perform quality checks and inspections to ensure product meets specifications.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and escalate as needed to maintenance or engineering teams.
  • Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
  • Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a clean, organized work environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in training and development programs to support plant startup and ongoing operations.
  • Additional responsibilities as neededto support the team and company goals. 
Qualifications

Education, Experience, Certifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training is a plus.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing, assembly, or production environments.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment   

Competencies, Skills, Knowledge

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends as needed.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn new systems.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and a willingness to learn new techniques and technologies
  • Ability to communicate effectively in basic English to follow instructions, interact with supervisors and coworkers, and understand safety regulations, Standard Operating Procedures and work instructions.

Physical Demands

  • Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds or more (Greater than 50lbs requires team lifting).
  • Must be able to stand on your feet for extended periods of time.
  • Must have good hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills for manipulating small parts.
  • Wear required personal protective equipment for operation being performed.
  • Tolerate occasional exposure to extreme environmental conditions (heat, cold, odors, dust).
  • Ability to climb ladders, squat, bend, and work in confined spaces

  • This role requires you to be on site at our Cumming, GA site.
  • Work will be performed on the manufacturing floor.
