Preference will also be given for an appropriate doctoral or terminal degree, if applicable to the particular courses to be staffed. Preference will also be given to faculty with experience demonstrating the relevance of English studies to our diverse student and local communities, whether through community engagement, equity- and justice-based approaches to teaching, or racially and ethnically conscious pedagogies.
