Job description

Liquor store in Harlem looking for a new team member to grow with us! We are a small, tight-knit team looking for a dependable addition to our staff.

Starting pay is $17.50 per hour with room to grow .

This is a full-time position. We are looking for candidates with flexible availability who can work a combination of daytime and evening shifts. Availability for longer or double shifts is strongly preferred. Weekend and evening availability may be required. Specific scheduling will be discussed during the interview process.


Paid training is provided.


This is a high-volume store with very busy periods. You must be comfortable behind a register (we will train you), able to remain calm, professional, and courteous when assisting a wide variety of customers, and able to safely lift and carry cases weighing up to 50 pounds.


Responsibilities

  • Provide friendly and professional customer service
  • Process customer transactions at the register
  • Restock merchandise and maintain organized displays
  • Receive and unpack inventory shipments
  • Verify deliveries and assist with inventory management
  • Organize back stock and rotate inventory as needed
  • Perform basic computer and data-entry tasks
  • Maintain a clean and organized checkout area and stockroom
  • Follow store procedures, including loss-prevention and safety policies
  • Assist with opening and closing duties as needed
