The PLCB is offering a fantastic opportunity to work in a customer-focused retail role, with all the perks of full-time state employment. Our Fine Wine & Good Spirits (FW&GS) Store in Lancaster is looking for a Full-Time Sales Team Lead (Liquor Store Clerk 2) - apply today. DESCRIPTION OF WORK Note: This is an itinerant position, requiring travel as needed.

This position is located out of store number #3626 in Lancaster but will travel to other stores in the designated district. This role centers on leading a shift and supporting store operations while guiding clerks. You work with management and help ensure a welcoming shopping experience.

As a Sales Team Lead, you will perform the following duties: Shift Leadership: Provide direction to clerks and keep the store operating smoothly Customer Support: Assist shoppers and promote a positive experience Sales Processing: Manage transactions using a computerized register Store Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness, stock shelves, and build displays Staff Training: Guide less experienced clerks in store procedures and policies Reporting Duties: Complete shift reports, including cash and inventory records If you are someone who has the passion for helping customers, then come grow your career with the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board. Salary: The starting salary for this position for new Commonwealth employees is fixed at the minimum salary listed above and is not negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Six months as a Liquor Store Clerk 1 or Intermittent Liquor Store Clerk (Commonwealth job titles or equivalent Federal Government job titles, as determined by the Office of Administration); or Six months of retail sales work.

Legal Requirements: You must pass a background investigation. An applicant with a felony conviction within the last ten years of their prospective date of employment is not permitted to work for the PLCB, per section 210(c) of the Pennsylvania Liquor Code. Other criminal convictions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
