Manager, HR, Talent Acquisition and Development
Nodal Exchange, the largest power futures exchange in North America, is a derivatives exchange providing price, credit and liquidity risk management to participants. All transactions on Nodal Exchange (power, environmental and natural gas) are cleared through its wholly owned subsidiary, Nodal Clear, using its award-winning portfolio margining methodology. As leaders in innovation, Nodal Exchange and Nodal Clear have built in-house most of the trading and clearing platforms that fuel our business. Nodal Exchange is part of the EEX Group which is in turn part of the Deutsche Börse Group.
We are now looking for talented, innovative individuals to join our team in Tyson's Corner, VA (DC Metro area). This position is based on site. Local candidates desired.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer, primary responsibilities include:
  • Drive the execution of strategic initiatives and tactical operations across key areas of HR such as talent acquisition, learning and development, HR analytics and reporting, performance management, and HR operational efficiency
  • Directly supervise, evaluate, and develop team members to achieve departmental goals
  • Create and execute strategies for talent acquisition to develop a robust pipeline of high-quality candidates; ensure continuous and proactive communication with both hiring managers and candidates to provide a high-touch, transparent recruitment experience; reporting on recruitment and hiring analytics and metrics
  • Create a structured approach to the learning and development function, ensuring training content and delivery meet high professional standards and align with company and department KPIs
  • Provide support with HR data reporting ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
  • Serve as POC for internal HR audits; monitor and maintain HR processes and controls
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive environment, while maintaining high professional standards and accountability
  • Provide frequent communication and updates to the Chief HR Officer

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's in Human Resources, Business or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in Human Resources, which includes supervisory responsibilities
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and compliance requirements
  • Stays abreast of current Talent Acquisition and Development best practices and tools
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • High integrity and can be trusted with high level of confidential information
  • Strong technical skills and proficiency with HRIS, Google Suite & Microsoft Office products

Preferred:
  • Familiarity with immigration and visa processes

Salary Range: $130,000 - $165,000 per year base salary, when annualized
