Job description

We are seeking a VP of Treasury to provide strategic leadership for the organization's treasury operations, capital management, liquidity planning, and financial risk management. This executive role is responsible for optimizing cash flow, strengthening banking relationships, overseeing financing activities, and developing treasury strategies that support long-term business growth and financial stability.

Position Responsibilities Treasury Strategy & Leadership
  • Develop and execute enterprise-wide treasury strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Lead treasury operations, cash management, and capital planning initiatives.
  • Provide strategic financial guidance to executive leadership regarding liquidity and funding requirements.
  • Establish policies and procedures to strengthen treasury governance and financial controls.
Cash & Liquidity Management
  • Oversee daily cash positioning, forecasting, and liquidity management.
  • Optimize working capital and ensure sufficient funding for business operations.
  • Develop long-term cash forecasting models to support strategic planning.
  • Monitor cash flow trends and recommend opportunities for improvement.
Banking & Capital Markets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with banking partners and financial institutions.
  • Lead financing activities, debt management, and capital structure optimization.
  • Evaluate lending opportunities, credit facilities, and investment strategies.
  • Negotiate banking agreements and treasury-related contracts.
Financial Risk Management
  • Identify and manage financial risks related to interest rates, foreign exchange, and liquidity.
  • Develop hedging strategies where appropriate to minimize financial exposure.
  • Ensure compliance with treasury policies, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
  • Monitor financial markets and assess their impact on treasury operations.
Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Lead and mentor treasury professionals while fostering a high-performing team environment.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Tax, Legal, and Executive Leadership on strategic initiatives.
  • Support mergers, acquisitions, capital projects, and other corporate finance activities.
  • Drive continuous process improvements through automation and treasury technology solutions.
Prerequisites
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Extensive leadership experience in corporate treasury, finance, or financial management.
  • Strong knowledge of cash management, capital markets, banking relationships, and financial risk management.
  • Experience with treasury management systems, financial forecasting, and corporate financing.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead strategic financial initiatives in a complex business environment.
Certifications (Preferred, but not Required)
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA)
  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP)
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
  • Financial Risk Manager (FRM)
