Qualifications
You Have:
  • Experience updating, testing, and validating changes to systems
  • Experience with system security hardening and patching for Linux systems and workstations
  • Knowledge of System Administration interdependencies specific to RHEL 8 and RHEL 9 systems and administration of Linux-based workstations
  • Knowledge of GitLab and Ansible with experience building and modifying playbooks
  • Knowledge of RHEL subscription manager
  • Knowledge of PKI infrastructure
  • TS/SCI with a polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, information technology, or engineering and 10+ years of experience with administration of Linux-based systems and workstation or a HS Diploma or GED and 12+ years of experience with administration of Linux-based systems and workstation
  • DoD 8570-Compliant IAT Level II or III Certification, such as Security+ Certification

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience creating Linux-based solutions for customer requirements
  • Experience using health and status monitoring software, including Nagios
  • Experience supporting U.S. government customers, preferably within the U.S. Intelligence Community
  • Experience with Linux scripting languages
  • Knowledge of network concepts and switch/firewall configurations
  • Master's degree
  • RedHat Linux Certification
  • DoD 8570-Compliant IAT Level II or III Certification, such as Security+ Certification
  • Willingness to travel 25-30%

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
Compensation at EverWatch is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86.54 to $110.58 per hour. The estimate displayed represents the typical compensation range for this position and is just one component of EverWatch's total compensation package for employees.
