Barbaricum is seeking a Cyber Training Specialist II to support the development, coordination, and delivery of cyber training programs and exercises for Department of Defense (DoD) customers. The selected candidate will leverage expertise in computer systems, electronics, cellular technologies, and operating systems to create realistic, mission-focused training environments that enhance operational readiness and workforce development.
The Cyber Training Specialist will support cyber training events, testing activities, and multidomain exercises while integrating a variety of technologies, including ICS/SCADA systems, IoT devices, RF systems, camera platforms, and Windows and Linux environments. The successful candidate will work closely with training teams, subject matter experts, and operational stakeholders to develop engaging training content, evaluate outcomes, and support mission success.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop, coordinate, and deliver cyber training programs, exercises, and instructional activities supporting Department of Defense (DoD) mission objectives.
  • Design realistic training scenarios and hands-on learning environments utilizing computer systems, electronics, cellular technologies, and operational networks.
  • Support the planning and execution of cyber training events, testing activities, and multidomain training exercises.
  • Configure, maintain, and operate Windows and Linux-based systems used in cyber training environments.
  • Integrate and support a variety of technologies, including camera systems, ICS/SCADA environments, IoT devices, RF systems, and related operational technologies for training purposes.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, engineers, and operational stakeholders to develop training content, objectives, and evaluation criteria.
  • Assess participant performance and training effectiveness, providing recommendations for program improvements and capability development.
  • Develop and maintain training materials, lesson plans, exercise documentation, and after-action reports.
  • Support the operation and sustainment of cyber range and training infrastructure to ensure readiness and availability for scheduled events.
  • Ensure training activities comply with applicable DoD policies, cybersecurity requirements, and organizational standards.

Required Qualifications:
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance
  • Associates degree in related field.
  • Meet DoDM 8140.03 IAT I requirements.
  • Minimum 5yrs experience working with computer, electronics, and cellular systems.
  • Demonstrated experience working with both Linux and Windows OS.
  • Demonstrated Experience with wide variety of technology to include camera systems, ICS/SCADA, IoT, and RF devices.
