RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Desktop Support Technician in Robstown, TX.
Summary:
Are you a hands-on IT professional who enjoys solving technical challenges and delivering excellent customer service? We're seeking a Desktop Support Technician to support a fast-paced enterprise environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives as the go-to IT resource, enjoys troubleshooting complex technical issues, and can work independently while supporting a large user base.
What You'll Do:
* Desktop Support Technician will provide onsite and remote support for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
* Troubleshoot hardware, software, Windows, and MacOS issues
* Support Microsoft 365, Adobe Suite, Autodesk, and other business applications
* Resolve network-related issues including DNS, DHCP, VPN, and endpoint connectivity
* Utilize Active Directory, Azure, SCCM, Intune, and JAMF to support users and devices
* Manage and resolve support tickets within defined service levels
* As a Desktop Support Technician, you will create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge articles
* Partner with Infrastructure, Security, and Enterprise IT teams to resolve escalated issues
* Lead and support technical projects from start to finish
REQUIREMENTS:
* 3-5+ years of Desktop Support or IT Support experience
* Strong experience supporting Windows and Mac environments
* Experience with Active Directory, Azure, and Exchange
* Excellent troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and networking
* Strong communication, customer service, and follow-up skills
* Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
* Linux experience
* SCCM, Intune, or JAMF experience
* Experience supporting engineering or design software
* Manufacturing or enterprise environment experience
