Lab Administrator

Job Description:

The Lab Administrator supports laboratory operations by coordinating samples, testing activities, documentation, and records. This role ensures samples and test results are accurately tracked, documented, and processed in compliance with company quality standards and cGMP requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, label, log, and track laboratory samples in ERP and tracking systems.
  • Coordinate testing activities with internal teams and external laboratories.
  • Prepare testing requests, package and ship samples, and monitor testing status.
  • Receive and accurately file test results and related documentation.
  • Maintain laboratory records, data entry, and quality documentation.
  • Update ERP systems to support material and product release processes.
  • Weigh, store, and manage retained samples and maintain organized sample storage areas.
  • Follow quality, safety, and cGMP procedures and support compliance requirements.

Qualifications

Required:

  • English literacy required, including the ability to read, write, and understand workplace documentation.
  • Basic computer and data entry skills.
  • Basic math and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities. 
  • Understanding of Microsoft Office, Teams, and Outlook.

Preferred:

  • 2+ years of experience in administrative, laboratory support, quality, manufacturing, or related environments.
  • Experience with ERP systems or laboratory recordkeeping, such as Microsoft Dynamics.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong organizational and record management skills.
  • Ability to follow detailed procedures and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Comfortable working with repetitive processes while maintaining accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk throughout the workday.
  • Ability to lift and carry samples and materials as needed.
  • Frequent bending, reaching, and movement between work areas.

Work Environment

Work is performed in a combination of office, laboratory, and manufacturing settings, with occasional exposure to production equipment, ingredients, powders, and laboratory environments. Dress code is business casual.

Hours: Mon – Fri

Start time: 7am or 9am

End time: 3:30pm or 5:30pm

Pay Range: $20 - $22 per hour DOE


Pay Details: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour
