Job description

A large financial services organization is hiring a full-time Sr. Staff Systems Engineer with deep Linux expertise, based in the Scottsdale, AZ. This role focuses on building and supporting enterprise-scale Linux infrastructure across hybrid environments, with a strong emphasis on Red Hat Enterprise Linux, AWS cloud services, and automation using tools like Ansible and Terraform.
This is a highly technical, hands-on position for someone who enjoys operating at the systems level and digging into complex problems. The team is looking for an engineer who can go beyond surface-level fixes and truly troubleshoot down to root cause, while also helping modernize infrastructure through automation and cloud adoption. You will be working in a high-visibility environment supporting critical systems, with exposure to encryption, containerization, and evolving DevOps practices. This is a strong opportunity for someone who wants to stay deep in the technology, expand into cloud and automation, and have a direct impact on stability and security across a large-scale enterprise environment.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Strong experience administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux in enterprise environments
