Idealforce has contract to hire position available immediately for a Cloud Systems Administrator to join our customer in Phoenix,AZ. This is Hybrid Position.Please find below additional details about this job.Local Candidates.

Job Description:

  • The Client is seeking a skilled and proactive Cloud Systems Administrator to join our dedicated IT team. In this contract-to-hire role, you will be instrumental in the end-to-end management of our cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance. We are looking for a professional who thrives in a hybrid environment and is passionate about leveraging Microsoft Azure to support critical state agency operations.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and continuous monitoring of the agency's Microsoft Azure Solutions.

  • Manage major Azure environment services, including compute, storage, networking, and security frameworks.

  • Serve as Tier 2 Support for general desktop support issues. Able to follow and write KBs for knowledge transfer to Tier 1 Service Desk.

  • Administer core infrastructure components such as DNS, Domain Controllers, and Azure Active Directory (including Hybrid Join and AAD Connect).

  • Maintain Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services, including SQL databases, Managed SQL instances, and Web App service plans.

  • Utilize Azure monitoring tools (Workspace Analytics) to maintain system health and security oversight.

  • Work with Support Services for inventory management and asset tracking.

  • Manage endpoint security and device compliance using Microsoft Intune and Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions.

  • Automate administrative tasks and manage certificate life cycles and recovery vaults.

  • Lead proactive vulnerability remediation efforts to ensure the security and integrity of all agency systems.
