Overview

We are currently seeking an Infrastructure Systems Administratorย  to join our Informational Technology team. Reporting to the IT Infrastructure Manager, you will have the opportunity to work on new and exciting projects while providing clients with a fully integrated and superior customer experience.ย 

This position is available at our London office.

Schedule: We provide coverage between 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM EST. Candidates should have the flexibility to work shifts within this window.

Responsibilities

What your day will look like

Primary

  • Administer and maintain on-premises networking systems across the entire company
  • Administer and maintain cloud networking systems (Azure)
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues

Secondary

  • Administer and maintain local physical infrastructure
  • Administer and maintain local and cloud based virtual infrastructure
  • Participate in infrastructure related projects
  • Manage cloud storage environments

Tertiary

  • Monitorย environment for stability and security alerts and react as they arise
  • Create and maintain appropriate infrastructureย standards, diagrams, and procedures
  • Share accountability for after hours activitiesย as needs arise

Learning and Development

  • Commit to self-development and ongoing learning and professional development
  • Contribute to Dillon's corporate profile through active participation in professional associations and committees
Qualifications

What you will need to succeed

  • 5+ years experience configuring and managing layer 3 switches (must have)
  • 5+ years experience configuring and managing Palo Alto firewalls (must have)
  • 5+ years of experience in designing, supporting, and maintaining in large and complex IT environments (must have)
  • In-depth understanding and experience of Information Technology standards and best practices
  • Post-secondary degree in information technology or an IT related discipline or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

  • Demonstrated experience with:ย

    • Aruba/Cisco switches
    • Network design and implementation (LAN/WAN)
    • Meraki wireless
    • Active Directory/Group Policy
    • VMWare vSphere/VCentre
    • Google Workspace Administration
    • Microsoft 365 Administration
    • Veeam or other backup and restore technologies
    • Windows Server
    • Linux Server
    • Cisco DUO
    • Data centre management
    • Cloud based infrastructure management including AWS, Azure, and Google
  • Ability to coordinate, prioritize and complete multiple tasks and multiple priorities
  • Strong forward thinking, analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Desire to learn and explore new technologies

Experience with any of the following are considered distinct assets:

  • CCNA certification
  • ITILย certification
  • Network, security or infrastructure certifications such as MCSE, CISSP, etc.

Compensation:

$80,000 - $95,000

Dillon is including the salary range that we in good faith believe may offer for this position. It will be dependent on the successful applicant's education, experience, and skills, in addition to internal equity and geographic region. Dillon reserves the right to pay outside of the posted range, contingent on factors unrelated to an applicant's gender or other status protected by provincial and/or federal law.
