Linux AdminA rapidly growing provider of IT Managed Services in New York City/ Northern New Jersey is looking for a Linux systems admin to join the dynamic team of professionals providing world class IT services to its clients in the NYC metro area. This is a great opportunity for a self-starter with a proven track record to develop, implement, and support various initiatives in the area of systems administration and devops. Because of the very wide breadth of systems that will be configured, supported and maintained, the ideal candidate must have a wide knowledge base including, Linux Servers, Windows Servers, Amazon Web Services, General Networking and ability to support custom applications.Required Experience: At least 3 years of experience in Linux Administration. At least 2 years of experience in Network Administration.Required Skills:Strong knowledge of Linux operating system including scripting and general system administration.Working knowledge of Windows Server Operating systems.Strong knowledge of networking and networking protocols.Strong knowledge of virtual environments.Working knowledge of DevOps automation tools such as Chef/Puppet/JenkinsAbility to manage AWS automation technologies a plusAbility to solve problems quickly and automate processes.Ability to quickly find solutions to unfamiliar problem
