The Infrastructure Operations Team ensures the stability and performance of QRT's global Linux estate, which underpins both trading and research platforms. The team works closely with end users, application teams, and engineering groups to provide day-to-day operational support, while also driving automation, monitoring, and deployment initiatives across a high-performance computing environment.ย 

Your Future Role within QRTย 

  • Administer, support, and upgrade Linux-based trading and research platformsย 
  • Deploy new servers and manage end-to-end build processesย 
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on automation and monitoring initiativesย 
  • Troubleshoot incidents and carry out root-cause analysis to ensure long-term stabilityย 
  • Contribute to process documentation and knowledge sharingย 
  • Perform occasional out-of-hours work andย participateย in an on-call rota (primarily remote)ย 

Your Present Skillsetย 

  • Strong Linux administration experience (Red Hat, CentOS)ย 
  • Experience with full lifecycle server deployments (hardware to OS build)ย 
  • Knowledge of AMD/Intel server hardware and componentsย 
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/UDP, LAN/WAN)ย 
  • Experience with automation tools (e.g. Ansible)ย 
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash)ย 
  • Problem-solving mindset with strong analytical and communication skillsย 
  • Team-oriented with a willingness to learn and adaptย 
  • Exposure to NFS or SAN storage systems (advantage but not essential).ย 

This role may involve shift work asย required.*ย 


Base salary range for this position is $150,000 to $200,000 per year.ย 

QRT Total Compensation includes discretionary performance-based bonuses and a competitive benefits package.
