ABOUT THIS ROLE

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure and tools to support software development, deployment, and production
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand their needs and ensure they have the necessary resources and support to deliver software quickly and reliably
  • Automate and streamline infrastructure and application deployment, configuration, and testing processes to mitigate errors
  • Monitor and troubleshoot production systems and proactively implement solutions to improve performance and stability
  • Conduct root cause analysis and post-mortems to identify and address issues and prevent future incident occurrences
  • Act as a liaison between development and operations teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the development and production environments in the India office
  • Build and deploy tools to ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements
  • Stay up to date with the latest technologies and industry best practices, and continuously improve the team's toolset and processes
Skills & Requirements
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
  • 6+ years of DevOps experience
  • Extensive Linux system administration experience
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure
  • Experience managing large-scale Kubernetes clusters
  • Experience with GitOps CI/CD workflows and related tools (e.g., Flux, Argo-CD, or similar)
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Opentelemetry and Prometheus
  • Python, Bash, Go (or similar scripting language) experience
  • Experience with configuration and automation tools like Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform, Helm
  • Strong working knowledge of network fundamentals
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Basic relational database usage and management experience
  • Availability to be participate in 24x7 on-call rotation under reasonable circumstances
