Job Summary:
Castelion is bringing a new approach to defense development and production, focusing on short design cycles and modern manufacturing strategies. They are seeking a DevOps Engineer to scale and automate their software development and test infrastructure, with responsibilities including designing CI/CD workflows and integrating software with hardware testing environments.
Responsibilities:
• Design, build, and maintain CI pipelines to support rapid and reliable software development and testing
• Integrate CI workflows with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and automated test environments
• Improve automation across build, test, deployment, and release processes
• Design and manage development infrastructure supporting engineering teams
• Maintain and improve containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes
• Support hybrid infrastructure across on-premise systems, lab environments, and cloud services
• Implement and maintain tooling that supports embedded software, robotics, and simulation workflows
• Integrate build systems, artifact management, and test frameworks into automated pipelines
• Work closely with software, simulation, and hardware teams to remove bottlenecks in engineering workflows
• Improve reliability, monitoring, and observability of internal development platforms
• Implement monitoring and telemetry solutions using tools such as Grafana
• Diagnose and resolve infrastructure, networking, and performance issues
