We are seeking an experienced Linux Platform & Server Migration Engineer to join a large-scale infrastructure modernization initiative.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own, manage, and engineer enterprise Linux compute platforms throughout server migration projects.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute end-to-end server migrations across physical servers, virtual machines, and VMware ESXi hosts.
  • Perform VMware administration, including host provisioning, VM migrations, vMotion, Storage vMotion, DRS, HA, and lifecycle management.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience supporting enterprise Linux infrastructure.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with enterprise server migration projects (P2V, V2V, and data center/site migrations).
  • Strong experience administering Linux operating systems and understanding Linux internals.
  • Expertise with VMware vSphere/ESXi including:
  • Host provisioning
  • VM lifecycle management
  • vMotion
  • Storage vMotion
  • DRS
  • High Availability (HA)
  • Experience managing iSCSI storage environments, multipathing, and storage troubleshooting.
