Job description

CTDI is a large-scale Engineering, Repair, and Logistics company that services the country's largest wireless telecommunications providers, as well as the largest High-speed Internet & Cable providers. CTDI has over 11,000 FT US Employees in over 60 world class US Operations. CTDI also has a global footprint with more than 20,000 employees worldwide.
This individual will be involved with cutting-edge Cable TV (CATV) head-end equipment and set top box technology. This individual should be a high-energy, quick learner who enjoys a hands-on, fast-paced work environment.
1st Shift: 6:00AM - 2:40PM, Monday-Friday
Responsibilities:
  • Support and Maintain Test Systems for Testing Consumer Electronics in production line
  • Troubleshoot test systems and find root cause of problems and resolve
  • Analyze technical requirements and effort associated with test systems and products
  • Generate engineering documents, including schematics, diagnostics, flowcharts, and project status reports
  • Configure and Calibrate Test systems
  • Monitor Performance of the tester and improve tester performance
  • Report software bugs to development team
  • Implement new software's into test systems and upgrade software and hardware as needed

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Associate degree or B.S. Degree
  • Basic knowledge of Electrical and Electronics
  • 0-2 years' experience in Test Engineering and Production Shop floor experience
  • Clear, discriminatory approach to solving engineering problems
  • Basic knowledge of C, C#, C++, Python, JTAG, CLI or LINUX applications
  • Understanding Android/iOS Phones Testing is a plus
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills
  • Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to interact professionally with the customer in written and verbal communications

Required Experience
  • Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field of Science (Bachelor's degree preferred)
  • Internship or project experience with test engineering
