This is a W2 position
One of our client's is looking for a skillful Production Support Engineer with Shell scripting, linux, Java, UI, SQL
 

The Skills You Bring

Hands on experience in Java , Angular, Web Development and UNIX 
 

  • 8+ years of experience in Production support and on call handling 24/7 applications and Infrastructure.
  • Hands on experience working with AWS EKS and AWS manages solutions such as lambda, dynomodb, api gateway, SQS, ec2, s3, CloudWatch, IAM roles/polices etc
  • Hands on experience in Rest based microservices particularly spring boot apps
  • Hands on experience in container-based development (Docker)
  • Hands on experience in Hibernate ORM/JDBC/Connection Pooling etc
  • Hands on experience working with EDA solutions such as Kafka/ MQ/ AWS SNS etc
  • Experience in supporting Micro services Architecture & building / deploying highly automated, scalable and maintainable infrastructure.
  • Knowledge on CD process and tools, testing frameworks and practices (preferably GitHub, Jenkins, Stash, Artifactory, Terraform etc.) 
  • Hands on experience in support mainframe application and technologies
  •  
Must have:
  • Experience in installing and maintaining Linux-based operating systems
  • Hands on logging at Linux servers and accessing file systems.
  • Experience on scripting using Perl, shell and bash.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science preferred
  • MSCE or A+ certification is required, with MSCE preferred
  • AWS certifications preferred (AWS SysOps, DevOps)

Domain knowledge is a plus.
