- AdministerandsupportWindowsServerenvironments,includingActiveDirectory,GroupPolicy,DNS,andDHCPwithinahybridLinux/Windowsinfrastructure.
- Manageandmaintainvirtualizationhardwareplatforms,includingserverprovisioning,firmwareupdates,hardwarelifecyclemanagement,andrack/stackoperations.
- Overseeon-premisesdatacenteroperations,includingphysicalinfrastructure,environmentalsystems,andcapacityplanning.
- Manageenterprisestoragesystems,includingprovisioning,monitoring,performanceoptimization,andlifecycleplanning.
- Develop,document,andimplementoperationalprocedures,checklists,andbestpracticesforLinux,Windows,andvirtualizationtechnologies.
- Providementoringtootheradministratorsandengineersontechnicalissues,advancedtools,andemergingvirtualizationtechnologies.
- Assistwithdevelopingtechnologyroadmapsandparticipateintheassessmentoftechnologysolutionstosupportorganizationalneeds.
- Managevendorrelationshipsrelatedtovirtualizationplatforms,Linuxdistributions,andsupportinghardware.
- Developcriteriaforandperformvendorand/orsystemandapplicationselections.
- CoordinateallactivitiesoftheSystemsEngineeringgroupwithallaffectedoperatingunitsandCorporatedepartments.
