Job description

Job Title: Warehouse Manager
Schedule: Full-Time | Typically 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (up to 7:00 PM as needed)
Alternate schedule every other week starting at 6:30 AM for inbound trucks
Salary: $90,000 – $100,000 annually

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Manager to lead operations for a wholesale distribution environment. This role is responsible for overseeing all warehouse functions including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and staff management.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader with deep experience in warehouse operations, highly proficient in WMS systems, and capable of driving efficiency, organization, and team performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, and inventory control 
  • Ensure inventory accuracy and maintain organized warehouse systems 
  • Manage, train, schedule, and supervise warehouse staff 
  • Coordinate with vendors, carriers, and drivers to ensure timely shipments and deliveries 
  • Optimize warehouse layout and workflow to maximize space and efficiency 
  • Enforce OSHA regulations, safety standards, and hazardous material protocols 
  • Maintain warehouse security procedures and compliance standards 
  • Monitor performance and provide coaching and feedback to team members 
  • Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to support business operations 

Qualifications

  • 3–4+ years of experience as a Warehouse Manager 
  • Experience working in a wholesale distribution environment required 
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse procedures, policies, and operations 
  • Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) 
  • Valid forklift certification/license 
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills 
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate across all levels of the organization 
  • Ability to provide clear and effective verbal and written feedback 
  • Bilingual English/Spanish 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field 
  • Experience improving warehouse layout, processes, and operational efficiency
