Job description

The firm is paying above market rate and investing heavily in technology, including an in house AI platform built by their own engineering team. The goal is simple. Less time buried in admin, more time with clients.

A small disclaimer. If your dream job is 55 hours a week and switching off the second the clock hits 5, this probably isn't for you. The people who do well here are willing to roll their sleeves up and graft. The reward is a genuine Partner track.

More money. More opportunity. More chance of making Partner than sitting around waiting for someone else to retire.

It’s a Tax Manager position for someone who is strong technically, enjoys working with clients, and wants a genuine route to Partner.

There’s a shortage of younger leadership and a significant amount of client work that will need new owners over the coming years. Several Partners are under 45. Several more are approaching the stage where succession planning becomes very real. If you are ambitious, the runway is enormous.

You could step into a leadership role, build out a tax department, oversee major client relationships, mentor a team, and help shape what public accounting will look like in the future.

You'll need solid technical tax knowledge, strong client skills, and the confidence to lead from the front.

You’ll be a CPA. Perhaps you’re frustrated after 10 years in one of the bigger firms. Or maybe you’re in a smaller firm, wondering how you’re going to progress. Either way, you’ll have a solid track record in Public Accounting and be ready for the next step.

Here’s the part most people get wrong: you don’t need to tick every box to introduce yourself. The apply button is not legally binding. Worst case? We chat, decide the timing isn’t right, and you carry on. Best case? You bag yourself a fantastic new position.

Prefer the human touch? Splendid. Ring me up. I’m at 646-540-9647. Sometimes Linked In hides my number. If they’re sneaky like that, you'll find my number on my profile. I’m Arran Jaiswal at Distinct North America. Also, I get it can be hard to talk with the fear of your Managing Partner walking past your office. I’m around early (6am EST) and after-hours too.
